FYE360 READINESS CONTROL

Assess the evidence. Protect the handoff.

The Go/No-Go Readiness Checklist converts 15 site conditions into one controlled delivery decision.

GO

Critical requirements satisfied

Every critical requirement is Complete or legitimately N/A. Supporting items remain visible until closed.

PENDING

Assessment incomplete

One or more critical requirements has not been answered or does not yet have sufficient evidence.

NO-GO

Critical blocker remains

One incomplete critical requirement is enough to stop the handoff, regardless of the overall percentage complete.

THE OPERATING PROCESS

Readiness is a cadence, not one walkthrough.

Begin early, maintain contractor follow-up, collect objective evidence, and make the final decision from current conditions.

1. Build the readiness network

Identify the customer lead, general contractor, trade contractors, facilities, IT, safety, rigging, installation, service, training, suppliers, and authorized decision owner.

2. Build one coordinated schedule

Place construction, delivery, installation, testing, training, inspections, shutdowns, third-party lead times, weekends, and holidays on the same timeline. Define the evidence required to prove each readiness item is complete.

3. Verify one week before

Request current photographs and supporting records for every item that was incomplete, uncertain, or dependent on third-party completion.

4. Assess the actual site

Perform the final walkthrough or evidence review close enough to delivery to reflect current conditions. Do not treat verbal assurance as verified completion.

5. Issue the controlled decision

Classify every condition, review the automated result with the authorized owner, document the rationale and schedule impact, and distribute the decision.

6. Resolve blockers and verify again

For a NO-GO, assign each blocker to one person, set a recovery date, obtain updated evidence, repeat the verification, and keep the original decision in the project record.
